The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has just sent a document to the trade unions of wards, communes, special zones, grassroots trade unions under the comprehensive management and affiliated economic and career units, on propaganda to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026) and Plan No. 06-KH/TU of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to implement Directive No. 34-CT/TW of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in the development of social housing in the new situation.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor recommends that units actively propagate and educate union members and workers about the glorious historical tradition of the Vietnamese National Assembly throughout the 20-year journey of attachment and companionship with the nation in the struggle for independence, freedom, and national reunification as well as in the cause of building, protecting and developing the country.
At the same time, it honors and expresses gratitude for the great contributions of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels through the ages, affirming that the National Assembly always grasps and correctly applies the Party's guidelines and viewpoints to legislative activities, supervises and decides on important issues of the country and continues to carry out "grateful response" movements, activities on resources.
Recognize and encourage activities to care for policy families, people with revolutionary contributions, people in remote, isolated, border and island areas of the Fatherland, and collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building the great national unity bloc.
The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor also requested units to orient and grasp public opinion, promptly advise solutions to create unity in awareness and action, contribute to the fight against erroneous and hostile arguments, protect the Party's ideological foundation related to the development of social housing in particular, ensuring social security, and socio-economic development of the City and the country in general.
At the same time, promptly encourage, commend and reward landlords and workers' accommodation for implementing regulations on environmental sanitation, safety, fire prevention and fighting, civilization, culture and culture.
