Ms. Bui Thi Phuong Loan - Vice President of Hai Phong Economic Zone Trade Union - said that by the end of September, 248 units organized activities to care for female workers such as propaganda on reproductive health care, female labor policies, prevention of domestic violence; meetings, seminars, exchanges; flower arrangements, cooking competitions, cultural exchanges, gift giving... for 86,626 female workers with a total cost of over 6.5 billion VND.
250/335 enterprises are eligible to sign collective labor agreements, accounting for 74.6%. The agreements all have many provisions specifically for female workers with priority regimes. Thereby, the lives, jobs, and welfare regimes of female workers are improved, helping workers feel secure in their work, stick with their jobs, and build a happy and progressive family life.
