On the morning of January 19, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police presided over and coordinated with SmartPro Consulting and Training Joint Stock Company (SmartPro Company) to organize the opening ceremony of the network security human resource training program in the province.
Participating in the training program are more than 1,000 trainees who are officials, managers in charge of information technology, digital transformation and full-time officials at departments, branches, localities and state-owned enterprises in the area.
Accordingly, from January 19-29, students participate in a common topic for all students, then will study in classes with specific target groups.
In which, class 1 is for information technology managers with the focus being knowledge of safety system operation management and incident response.
Grade 2 for officials in charge of information security and information technology with main content on advanced governance, supervision and legal updates.
Grades 3 and 4 for end-users take place from January 26 – 29, focusing on information security awareness in the era of artificial intelligence - AI, security skills and incident response).

According to Colonel Nguyen Dinh Thuan Hai - Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, digital transformation brings great opportunities but also poses challenges in network security, data security and information security.
Reality shows that many network security incidents do not originate from complex technology but originate from human loopholes such as using weak passwords, lack of vigilance against fake e-mails, or accidentally sharing or sending internal documents in the wrong way.
These seemingly minor errors can have serious consequences, directly affecting the operation of agencies and units.
From that reality, Colonel Nguyen Dinh Thuan Hai affirmed that ensuring network security is not only the task of the specialized department but the common responsibility of everyone, from leaders, management staff to end users. Each individual is an important link, playing a decisive role in the level of safety of the entire information system.
To build a sustainable network security "shield", Colonel Nguyen Dinh Thuan Hai suggested that students participating in the course need to learn to change daily digital behavior, form a habit of using safe technology.
In which, special attention should be paid to using strong passwords, frequently changing passwords, and raising vigilance against forms of cyber fraud.
In addition, agencies and units need to clearly stratify responsibilities in ensuring information security; build and complete network security incident handling procedures; prioritize preventive solutions through organizing periodic drills.
Strengthening the protection of public service data, important data, is also identified as a key task in the context of increasingly deep digital transformation.
