According to Decision No. 308/QD-PTTH-TTDT dated July 10, 2025 of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), among the 27 G1 games that were revoked, there were many outstanding titles such as: Tan Tien Kiem VNG (Minh Phuong Thinh Media Company Limited); Vuong Quoc Chuot Chuui (Tien Thuong Hoa Entertainment Joint Stock Company); De Vuong 3Q (Minh Online Services Joint Stock Company); other games such as Yugi H5, Bum Zing Play, 3Q Chien Di, Cuu Trong Quoc (Soha), Co Chien Tuong, Xanh Linh (VNG), Alo Tu Tien Di, Tran Ma Khuc Mobile ( Fun Media) along with titles from CMN Vietnam, GGE, VMzone and V given media.
The reason for the recall comes from the announcement by businesses that they have stopped providing the above G1 electronic games.
According to Point c, Clause 2, Article 47 of Decree No. 147/2024/ND-CP dated November 9, 2024 on management, provision and use of internet and information services on the network, in case the enterprise "has a written notice of termination of operations or after 12 months from the effective date of the License/Decision and the enterprise does not provide the service and does not report to the competent licensing authority/Decision", the competent Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information shall issue a decision to revoke the G1 Electronic Game Service Provision License on the network, the Decision to release the G1 electronic game on the network.
From the date of signing the decision, the decisions approving the content and scripts of these 27 games have officially expired. The Chief of Office, Head of the Electronic Information Department, Director of the Departments of Culture and Sports of Hanoi City; Department of Culture, Sports of Ho Chi Minh City; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, along with legal representatives of related enterprises, are responsible for implementing the decision.
According to the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, the revocation of the decision to approve the script content for G1 games that have stopped operating aims to tighten the management of domestic online electronic games while contributing to promoting businesses operating in this field to comply with regulations, contributing to building a civilized cyberspace in Vietnam.
