According to OpenAI CEO Sam altman, ChatGPT can now view all past conversations to provide a better personalized experience.
Specifically, ChatGPT will save context from previous exchanges, remember interests, habits or important information provided by users, thereby providing appropriate answers and being closer to needs.
Users can also proactively ask ChatGPT to remember a specific piece of information by saying keep that content in mind.
Notably, this memory feature is designed in optional form, meaning users can turn it on or off in ChatGPT's Personalization settings.
In addition, OpenAI also provides memory management options, allowing you to review all saved data, delete individual items or delete the entire page with just one operation. The saved information will be kept indefinitely, unless the user proactively deletes it.
The new memory feature is being rolled out by OpenAI to all Plus and Pro package users worldwide.
