On August 21, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee organized a conference to summarize 01 year of implementing the "Digital People's Education" Movement in the province in a direct combined online form to 102 commune and ward bridge points, with more than 8,300 delegates attending. Presiding over the conference at the provincial bridge point was Mr. Ngo Chi Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee for Science and Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation of Dong Thap province.
After 1 year of implementation, Dong Thap has formed a network to support digital transformation with 1,693 Community Digital Technology Groups in 100% of communes and wards with 10,224 members. The movement is implemented in association with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and provincial plans, gradually shifting from propaganda and raising awareness to guiding digital skills and applying technology to life.

Community Digital Technology Teams and socio-political organizations implement the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door", "holding hands to guide", prioritizing support for the elderly, women, and people in rural, remote and isolated areas. In which, focus on practical needs such as using VNeID, Electronic Health Records, social insurance...
Notably, the whole province has built 1,052 models and methods of disseminating digital skills; standardized 710 models according to each field group for monitoring, management and replication. Among them, there are many models directly related to life such as: "Digital Family", "Digital Ambassador", "Digital Volunteer Youth Team", "Digital Market", "Non-cash Route", "Paperless Session", "Digital Front", "Digital Branch"... Thereby, creating many outstanding results in terms of the level of access of people to essential digital platforms.
The whole province currently has 3,074,644/3,327,529 citizens aged 16 and over who have activated level 2 electronic identification accounts, reaching 92.4%... In the health sector, 100% of medical examination and treatment facilities have implemented health insurance examination and treatment using chip-based citizen identification cards...
In particular, Dong Thap also focused on deploying in the public sector, organizing 29 training classes for more than 8,870 turns of officials, civil servants, and public employees; and at the same time issuing new and changing information with nearly 23,000 digital signatures. 5,603/5,713 officials, civil servants, and public employees completed courses on the MOOCs platform and were certified, reaching 98.07%.
In education, 100% of general education institutions deploy digital school records, about 90% of general education institutions reach level 2 or higher according to the set of indicators for evaluating digital transformation in the education sector. The province has equipped 48 STEM Lab rooms and is deploying 36 more rooms. Production, business, and digital skills areas are associated with e-commerce, traceability, planting area codes, AI applications and market information exploitation. To date, more than 79,000/95,000 members and employees in cooperatives and associations are equipped with basic digital knowledge and skills. There are 142 cooperatives deploying traceability; 21 cooperatives built 99 planting area codes with an area of 5,164ha, attracting nearly 10,800 participating households.

To continue to improve the quality of the "Digital Education for All" movement, building a sustainable digital knowledge platform for the whole society, the Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee requested that in the coming time, it is necessary to raise awareness and strengthen the leadership role of the Party Committee and heads. In which, continue to identify people as the center, taking the effectiveness of using digital platforms and services as a measure; focus on popularizing digital skills from the grassroots level and consolidating the operation of Community Digital Technology Teams... with the goal set out to make digital skills popularization a practical and regular activity at the grassroots level, contributing to the formation of digital citizens, the development of digital government, digital economy and digital society.
On this occasion, 20 collectives were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in implementing the "Digital People's Education" Movement.
