On November 20, at the I.C.E Hanoi International Exhibition Center, the International Exhibition of Electronics and Smart Manufacturing Furniture in Vietnam (GEIMS Vietnam 2025) took place. The event gathered more than 150 businesses with 200 booths participating in displaying products.
The most special thing about this year's event is the Smart Robot experience area - introducing the latest automation solutions, human- robot interaction activities.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet Unitree G1 - a human-shaped robot developed by Unitree Robotics - a global pioneer in the technology of manufacturing high-performance four-legged robots and practical applications.
Unitree G1 will perform interesting performances such as waving, holding hands, smashing, holding hands, and friendly hugging, along with running, squats and interactive patrols around the exhibition area.
During the 2 days of the event, this special exhibition area will invite visitors to directly experience future robots, where intelligence, flexibility and creativity converge to create a premise for progress in the smart manufacturing industry.

Mr. Wilson Wu - Vice President in charge of Joint Venture Management and Special Projects of Global Sources, said that Vietnam is entering the strongest transition period in the global supply chain.
"The increasing demand for domestic production capacity along with the trend of diversifying supply is strongly promoting the development of the industry in Vietnam. And GEIMS Vietnam 2025 brings a strategic connectivity space, helping businesses flexibly adapt and respond promptly to rapid changes in the global manufacturing industry," said Mr. Wilson Wu.
In recent times, Vietnam has become an important link in the global supply chain with the expected value of electronics exports reaching 145 billion USD in 2025.
Leading technology corporations such as ASUS are contributing to strengthening this trend by shifting more than 90% of PC and motherboard manufacturing activities to Southeast Asia, in which Vietnam is an important destination.
Apple continues to expand its investment, while Samsung is restructuring and optimizing its regional production network, creating a strong shift, affirming Southeast Asia's increasingly prominent role in the global supply chain.

According to IMARC Group's forecast (2025), the smart manufacturing market in Vietnam is expected to make a strong breakthrough, from 116.8 billion USD in 2024 to more than 303 billion USD in 2033.
Domestic enterprises are constantly upgrading production capacity and switching to a smart factory model, in order to keep up with global trends.
These advances are helping Vietnam gradually affirm its central position in the region in the fields of design, assembly and chip testing, while opening up a large space for investment, innovation and development of high-quality human resources.
In that situation, GEIMS Vietnam 2025 has become an important strategic platform, connecting leading component suppliers with electronics manufacturers to share knowledge, update trends, explore advanced solutions, promote the innovation of the electronics ecosystem and smart manufacturing in Vietnam.
With more than 200 product exhibitors from Vietnam, China, Japan, Korea and many other countries, the exhibition is expected to welcome more than 7,000 visitors who are experts in the industry.
The event brings together advanced technology products and solutions in many fields, including electronic components, PCB/PCBA, SMT & inspection - measurement equipment, precision mechanics, automation systems, factory support equipment, as well as photosensitization technology.
Enterprises have the opportunity to seek advanced equipment, high-quality components and modern automation solutions to improve production efficiency and competitiveness in the new industrial era.
