Hanoi bans roads and diverts traffic to ensure security, order, and traffic safety to serve the 14th Party Congress.

The road ban schedule is applied on the Le Duc Tho route (section from Le Quang Dao to Nguyen Hoang) and Le Quang Dao (section from Le Duc Tho to Me Tri, Chau Van Liem), except for vehicles of participating forces, serving exercises, vehicles with security badges and vehicles performing tasks of handling and overcoming incidents. Hanoi temporarily banned roads in front of the stands of My Dinh Stadium on the morning of January 8, serving the departure ceremony and drills to protect the 14th Party Congress.

Road ban schedule in Hanoi on August 21 for the first general parade and A80 parade
