Mr. Le Dinh Tai - Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Son Commune (Duc Tho District) - has just signed a document announcing the search for the father and mother of a newborn girl about 1-2 days old abandoned in a field in Ngo Loi Village, Truong Son Commune.
Previously, at around 5am on May 23, local people discovered a newborn baby girl abandoned on the edge of the road in a field in Ngo Loi village.
The girl was placed in a white sack, without any assets or attached documents.
After the discovery, people reported it to the local authorities and the commune health station to take the baby for examination and care. After checking, the girl weighed 3.2 kg and was in stable health.
According to the People's Committee of Truong Son commune, after the notice period of 7 days, if the baby's father and mother do not come to claim him, the local authorities will carry out the birth registration procedures for the baby and the adoption procedures according to regulations.
Previously, on May 18, a newborn baby boy was abandoned on the side of the road in village 2, Ha Linh commune, Huong Khe district.
After receiving the news, the Ha Linh commune government sent officials from the commune health station to take the child for examination and care. After examination, the child was in normal health and weighed 3.4kg.
In the early morning of May 13, people in Xuan Lien commune (Nghi Xuan district) discovered a baby girl about 1 week old, abandoned in front of a house in Lam Vuong village, Xuan Lien commune, along with a plastic lane containing a blanket, pillow, 200,000 VND and a handwritten letter.
After that, a family took the child to temporary care while the authorities were carrying out procedures to notify the child's father and mother according to regulations.
