What is millet?

Millet is considered one of the earliest foods of mankind and is still used as a staple food for residents in many parts of the world.

Millet is known as a very good alternative grain for people with digestive diseases. Millet has a rich fiber content. In addition, millet does not contain gluten so it can be used for people with poor digestive systems, especially children or people who are allergic to gluten in cereals.

How to make millet cookies

Ingredient:

- 125 grams of amaranth powder

- 60 grams brown sugar

- 50ml olive oil

- 5 grams cinnamon powder

- 35 grams of almonds, crushed

- 2.5 grams baking soda

- 1.5 grams of salt

- 1 egg

Making:

Step 1: Beat the eggs in a bowl, add olive oil to the bowl and continue to beat the two ingredients together.

Step 2: When done, add brown sugar to this mixture.

Step 3: Next, add the cinnamon and almonds to the egg, olive oil and brown sugar mixture.

Step 4: Now, slowly pour the amaranth powder into the bowl. You should only add a small amount at first, beat until the powder is mixed with the other ingredients, then add a little more. Do this until the entire cup of amaranth powder is mixed with the ingredients in the bowl.

Step 5: Add baking soda and salt to the bowl, this is the final step of the mixing process.

Step 6: Preheat oven to 180°C, then use a spoon to transfer the dough onto greaseproof paper into small cakes.

Step 7: Place the cookies in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes.

Store the cake in a glass jar and eat gradually.
