4pm is the time when the body is often in a state of fatigue, low energy, leading to a feeling of hunger and alcohol. At this time, many people tend to look for snacks such as fried cakes, snacks, French fries, etc. However, this is the reason why calorie intake exceeds the necessary level, causing weight gain, digestive disorders and many other health consequences.
Nutritionist Bharathi Kumar ( fortis Hospital, India) recommends: Skinching in the middle of a session is necessary to maintain energy, but choosing the wrong foods can disrupt nutritional balance. High-fat fried foods should be replaced with options rich in fiber, low in sugar and good carbs".
An easy suggestion to make at home is healthy cookies made from almond flour, flaxseed and unsweetened chocolate. This recipe is shared by chef Meraj, Head chef of Four Points by Sheraton Hotel (Navi Mumbai).
Healthy cookies recipe
Ingredients:
125g almond flour
24 tablespoons unsweetened chocolate chips
2 tablespoons dietary sugar (powder)
1.5 g salt, 0.5 g baking soda
20 ml of coconut oil
5 ml vanilla
15 ml of soy milk
Mix dry ingredients well.
Add the wet ingredients, knead them into a fine powder.
Shape into cakes, stack on trays.
Bake at 170°C for 12 minutes.
Let cool and store in a sealed container.
Almond flour helps reduce carb intake, while adding protein and good fats. Flaxseeds are rich in fiber, while unsweetened chocolate still brings an attractive flavor without increasing blood sugar.
Expert Bharathi Kumar emphasizes: Healthy snacking habits can be maintained effectively if you prepare food in advance. Making your own cookies not only controls the ingredients but also forms a scientific eating habit".
Healthy cookies are a suitable choice for dieters, low-carb dieters or simply anyone who wants to change their eating habits to be healthier every day. No need to completely give up the joy of snacking, just choose the right dish, you will control your weight without sacrificing your health.
