The latest episode of the program "You Want to Date" (broadcast on HTV7 channel) brings viewers a surprising and interesting meeting between Nguyen Minh Thanh (32 years old, from Dak Lak, working in printing services in Ho Chi Minh City) and Tran Thi Minh Phuong (31 years old, an employee in Ho Chi Minh City).
Right in the warm-up part, Minh Phuong surprised the two MCs Quyen Linh and Ngoc Lan and the audience at the studio when she shared that at the age of 31, she had never entered an official relationship. Notably, the female office worker revealed that she had spent all 16 years of youth (from 2009 to 2025) only to love one person unrequitedly. Although she had proactively come to the other person's workplace to confess her love, what she received in return was only silence and refusal.
Closing the past, Minh Phuong gave a list of strict requirements for his other half: no smoking, no alcohol, no gambling, no hooking, no violence, no saying "you - I" and no gaming. Notably, the prerequisite that made MC Quyen Linh "hesitant" was that her boyfriend must love the two cats she had raised for 12 years. The girl's dedication to taking care of cats like young children made the male MC worried about the time pressure when both entered married life.
On the opposite side of the fence, Minh Thanh also went through exactly 10 years of being single after his unfinished first love when he was in school due to geographical distance. The guy from Dak Lak made a strong impression with his honesty, immaturity and cheerful personality. Even when mentioning his forgetfulness, he made the whole hall burst into laughter with his simple statement: "Sometimes forgetting, just give it to others".
Although admitting that he still smokes (but is trying to quit gradually) and has not met 100% of the "banned list" from the bride's family, Minh Thanh's sincerity and emotional voice through the song "Goi em la ca the gioi" (Calling you the whole world) has erased all distances as soon as the barrier was lifted.
Support from the family is also a great support for the couple. Minh Thanh's mother who went with him has a lot of affection for Minh Phuong, affirming that her son is very gentle, filial and knows how to save. She openly declared that she does not set any mother-in-law - daughter-in-law boundaries, and completely respects the decisions of the two children.
When approaching and holding the other person's hand, Minh Thanh did not hesitate to give a weighty commitment: "I don't dare to promise you everything, but I promise to be a solid shoulder for you to lean on. Regardless of the difficulties in life, I am ready to reach out and help you carry it". The young man also happily accepted the job of carrying and taking care of the two kittens with his girlfriend.
Before the sincerity and solid shoulders of the Dak Lak guy, Minh Phuong immediately "softened her heart". The female employee declared to automatically reduce the initial standard by 50% and actively pressed the dating button quickly from the first seconds.
