What is irregular menstrual cycle?
Irregular menstrual cycle is a phenomenon in which menstruation does not follow a certain cycle, it can come early or late, or even amenorrhea.
- Menstrual cycle shorter than 24 days or longer than 38 days.
- Menstruation is less than 2 days or more than 7 days.
- Menstrual blood volume is too little or too much.
- Menstrual blood has strange color, is lumpy and has many blood clots.
- Severe menstrual symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, back pain, fatigue, nausea and vomiting.
Signs of pregnancy when menstrual cycle is irregular
Breast pain: Hormonal changes in early pregnancy can cause swelling and tenderness in one or both breasts. These changes can make your breasts feel quite sore.
Fatigue: The surge in progesterone levels in early pregnancy often leads to feeling extremely tired or exhausted even though you have slept well at night and have not exerted yourself during the day.
