According to the investigation, the woman surnamed Yang (over 20 years old) approached Son Heung-min in June last year, claiming that she was pregnant with his child. To increase the trust, Yang also sent an ultrasound image of the fetus and threatened to reveal the incident if he was not paid to " say no more".
Fearing that the incident would negatively affect his reputation and career, Son transferred more than 300 million won (equivalent to about 215,000 USD) to Yang.
