Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan - Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee - informed: The locality currently has 772 educational institutions, along with a team of cadres and teachers of 24,266 people. Regarding the quality of education, although it has been improved, it is not uniform, there is a big difference between subjects and areas. The average of high school graduation exams in 2025 is 6.00 points, ranked 2/5 compared to the Mekong Delta region, ranked 15/34 provinces and cities nationwide; high school graduation exam in 2025, reaching 99.37%.
Speaking at the seminar, delegates raised the current situation and proposals to improve the quality of education and training in Ca Mau province in the coming time.
Associate Professor, Dr. Huynh Anh Huy (Can Tho University) released the results of a survey of 208 teachers and 60 managers at high schools in Ca Mau province, showing that teachers mainly use popular and free online tools such as Google Meet, Zoom, Zalo and Facebook. Only a small percentage use official platforms such as LMS systems or specialized learning materials design tools.
Although more than 57% of teachers are highly ready to design digital lectures, online exercises or virtual experiments, about 42.8% are still not ready for the combined teaching model. This shows that the clear gap in digital capacity and the need for digital capacity building is still huge.
Dr. Nguyen Nhu Khoa - Computer Science (France), Director of Digital Transformation Consulting, Director of AI, FPT Digital - said that it is necessary to boldly use AI in teaching and learning.
According to Mr. Khoa, for Ca Mau, this is the golden time to exploit the power of AI, narrow the educational gap and make a breakthrough on the national education map. Because globally, AI is affirming its role as a strategic tool in education, helping to optimize operations and create breakthroughs in teaching.

Speakers also said that education in Ca Mau has achieved many achievements, but in the coming time, it needs to be further innovated, arousing passion for science, and adding quality human resources to society.
Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau - said that Ca Mau education has affirmed its quality in recent times thanks to the attention of parents, teachers themselves, schools and especially of authorities at all levels. The proof of this is the high annual graduation rate, many children in Ca Mau pass the entrance exam to universities, becoming those who are considered successful.

Mr. Nguyen affirmed: After the seminar, the Department of Education and Training received the opinions of speakers, selecting them to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to include in the long-term investment policy for education, overcome limitations, promote strengths to further develop Ca Mau education.
