In Can Tho City, many parents expressed concern about the new regulations of Circular 29. They believe that the new regulations on tutoring and extra learning can affect the quality of children's learning, especially during the final exam preparation period.
Mr. Tran Minh Hung (Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City) shared that during the review period of the 9th grade exam to grade 10, if they are not allowed to take extra classes, it will be very difficult and disadvantageous for their children, affecting the exam results.
Some parents also believe that they do not have enough time to accompany their children at home, while the time spent at school is not enough for the children to master the knowledge and skills to solve the exam questions proficiently, so extra learning is very necessary.

In response to parents' concerns, schools in Can Tho City have quickly adjusted their review plans to comply with the provisions of Circular 29. In particular, many secondary schools have increased supervision for students, especially those with weak and poor academic performance, to help them confidently enter the upcoming 10th grade entrance exam.
Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Phuong - Principal of Long Tuyen Secondary School (Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City) - informed that the school has adjusted the review plan, not collecting tuition fees in reviewing for admission for students.
At Long Tuyen Secondary School, Volunteer classes are held every afternoon of the week, with many students participating. The teachers also review the knowledge that the students have not yet acquired in class, helping them grasp more knowledge.

For high schools, the implementation of Circular 29 does not cause many difficulties, because schools have previously proactively integrated review plans into the official curriculum. However, schools are also flexibly rebuilding the review plan, classifying students and not implementing socialization as every year.
Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Ha - Principal of Bui Huu Nghia High School (Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City) - said that the school encourages teachers to promote a sense of responsibility, both ensuring the program and helping students have enough knowledge to prepare for the graduation exam.
For Circular 29 to be truly effective, there needs to be synchronous coordination between schools, parents and students. Schools need to improve the quality of teaching and learning, ensuring that students grasp knowledge right in class. Parents need to spend time caring for and encouraging their children to study.

According to the direction of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City, while waiting for the City People's Committee to issue regulations on extra teaching and learning in the area and documents guiding the organization of extra teaching and learning from the Department; units should pay attention to propagating in many forms to managers, teachers, students and people regulating extra teaching and learning according to Circular 29.
Heads of educational institutions are responsible for organizing and managing extra teaching and learning in schools according to regulations; at the same time, they are responsible for managing teachers participating in extra teaching outside of school in accordance with the instructions and regulations of Circular 29.
