Dong Thap Electronic Information Portal reported that on July 31, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan and leaders of departments and branches related to inspecting the conditions of facilities and teaching equipment at Tien Giang High School for the Gifted (Trung An Ward) and Nguyen Dinh Chieu High School (My Tho Ward).
Tien Giang Specialized High School has a total area of 32,000 m2 with 33 classrooms. In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the school won 44 national excellent student exam prizes.
Regarding difficulties, the school's leaders said that the school has not yet had a mechanism to attract excellent teachers to the school; there is no specific regime on national compensation and rewards for excellent teachers and students; limited funding has not ensured the implementation of educational activities.

Nguyen Dinh Chieu High School has a total area of 39,378 m2, built spaciously with 46 classrooms, equipped with TVs or interactive screens and internet connection to serve teaching and learning well; has 12 laboratories, practice rooms and multimedia classrooms.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, 100% of students will graduate from high school, with an average score of 7.47 points.
The school's leaders recommended that the province consider allowing the second facility located in Mekong Software Park to use the facilities of the current Tran Hung Dao High School for teaching, because the facilities rented at Mekong Software Park do not meet the number of classrooms from the 2025-2026 school year onwards.

Through a survey, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and results achieved in teaching, as well as investment in building modern facilities and equipment that have created a safe learning environment, promoting the learning and teaching motivation of students and teachers in recent times.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the province will record opinions, recommendations and propose specific solutions to improve the quality of education, as well as increase investment in facilities, improve the quality of the teaching staff, and innovate teaching methods. Thereby, contributing to the development of the province's education career.
