The People's Committee of An Giang province has just held a meeting of the Steering Committee on science, technology development, innovation, digital transformation and Project 06 to evaluate the implementation results of tasks in the past time, orienting key tasks to be implemented in the last months of 2025.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung assessed that in the first 7 months of 2025, the above-mentioned aspects of work in the province were implemented vigorously, continuing to achieve many positive results.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested agencies, units and localities to develop plans to overcome shortcomings and limitations in the spirit of 6 clear (clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibilities, clear products, clear authority).
From now until the end of 2025, in the context of both running and lining up, the province must speed up the completion of the political tasks of the year and of the entire term, carrying out tasks with focus and key points. Focus on 3 groups of management and operation tasks, serving the people; production and business.
Establish a team of experts with in-depth expertise in all fields. Applying information technology and AI in governance, direction and operation.
Focus on investing in and equipping transmission lines for management and operation and Public Administration Service Centers in communes, wards, special zones... The Department of Science and Technology will develop a general plan to complete the investment in August 2025. Arrange staff with professional qualifications in information technology, science and technology, digital transformation at agencies and localities.

Promote science and technology in production and business, agricultural, forestry and fishery processing industry, and medicinal product production to create new products and brands, increasing added value.
Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung emphasized the need to focus on strong digital transformation in education and health. These are 2 areas that directly serve the people, so they must take the lead in the province's digital transformation, striving to achieve the goal of being in the top group of the country.
Departments and branches will increase guidance and professional training on weak aspects, promote propaganda work, focusing on digital citizens, skills to perform online public services. Urgently correct and update student data, land, martyrs' information, clean up marriage data, etc. to be completed by September 30.
The An Giang Provincial People's Council has also recently issued Resolution No. 15/2025/NQ-HDND dated June 27, 2025 stipulating the collection rate of 0 VND in fees and charges under the decision-making authority of the An Giang Provincial People's Council when performing online public services in the province.
The province has also completed the announcement on the national administrative procedure database of 2,126 administrative procedures (including vertical sectors, administrative procedures performed at both levels). Of which, 1,814 administrative procedures are under the authority of the provincial and commune levels, which is 416 procedures. The rate of early and on-duty file settlement reached 91.83%, integrating 89.85% of the province's partial and full online public services 1,912 services) on the National Public Service Portal.
As a result of implementing the index to direct, manage and evaluate the quality of service for people and businesses in implementing administrative procedures and public services in real time in the electronic environment, An Giang reached 68.63 points, ranking 21/34 provinces and cities. Specifically: transparent disclosure reached 12.74 points/18 points (70.78%); settlement progress reached 18.08 points/20 points (90.4%); online services reached 8.22 points; satisfaction level reached 17.9 points/18 points (99.44%); file digitalization reached 11.69 points/22 points (53.14%).
Preliminary statistics on the implementation results of tasks under Project 06/CP in the province show that up to now, 7/36 tasks have been completed; 16/36 tasks are being regularly implemented; 13/36 tasks are being implemented by departments and branches.
