The 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi for the 2025-2026 school year will take place on June 7-8, with three subjects: Math, Literature ( thesis, 120 minutes) and Foreign Language (eksperimental, 60 minutes). Candidates take the exam on June 9 (150 minutes). This year is the first year of applying the 2018 General Education Program, with about 104,000 candidates attending 210 exam locations and more than 4,500 exam rooms.
On June 6, candidates completed the exam procedures, presented the exam report form/ID card and were informed about the exam regulations, exam schedule, and exam preparation method, especially paying attention to Articles 21 and 57 on responsibilities and handling of violations. Candidates are also instructed in detail on how to write information and take a Foreign Language multiple-choice test.
The popular 10th grade admission scores include a total of three exam subjects and priority and incentive scores (coefficient 1 for all). For specialized classes, the score for three subjects is not specific with a coefficient of 1, the subject is specific with a coefficient of 2. Hai Phong equipped with metal detectors and surveillance cameras for the 10th grade high school exam
In order to serve the exam, Hai Phong mobilized about 3,400 cadres and teachers to participate in the work of exam supervision and grading. Including more than 3,000 supervisors, nearly 200 leaders of the exam council, and more than 500 service and security staff at the exam locations. 12th grade female student was abused and insulted by a teacher
