A locality sets out 12 criteria for selecting principals after school merger
On August 12, according to Lao Dong Newspaper's source, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch on the implementation of arranging public educational institutions.
The arrangement is implemented according to the project on arranging public educational institutions under the People's Committees of communes and wards in the province.
People's Committees of communes and wards assign the Department of Culture and Social Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to develop a common project, including establishment, merger, consolidation, separation; then submit it to the People's Committees of communes and wards for consideration and decision.
Notably, the Provincial People's Committee specifically stipulates the arrangement and assignment of principals after schools are reorganized. Each educational institution is assigned a principal.

Students are supported with at least 50% of health insurance contributions
According to information from Vietnam Social Security (BHXH), the health insurance (HI) contribution level of students is currently calculated at 4.5% of the reference level.
With the current reference level equal to the base salary of 2.53 million VND/month, the total health insurance contribution is 113,850 VND per month, equivalent to 1,366,200 VND per year.
However, this is not the entire amount of money that students have to pay themselves.

The state budget supports a minimum of 50% of the contribution level, equivalent to 56,925 VND/month. Thus, if applying a 50% support level, students pay a maximum of 683,100 VND per year. See more...
