Proposal to extend the implementation period of Circular 29 on tutoring
Circular 29 on extra teaching and learning is effective, causing many teachers to worry, especially the regulation that teachers who teach extra classes outside of school must register individual business households or establish businesses. This leads to many complicated legal procedures, related to industry codes, facilities, fire prevention and fighting conditions, etc., causing difficulties for teachers, and even possibly violating them without them knowing. In addition, establishing a business also requires large costs such as hiring accountants and managing finances.
In addition, teachers are not allowed to teach additional fees to students studying their main course, affecting final year students who are familiar with the teaching methods of teachers. Some teachers have proposed extending the application period of Circular 29 to better prepare. Meanwhile, bringing students from extra classes at home to the centers is also facing obstacles because the centers have had personnel plans in advance.
Extra-curricular centers are not affected by Circular 29 immediately, because there is a plan to recruit and organize teaching in advance. They still keep the criteria for teacher selection unchanged and do not have major changes. Hanoi University of Architecture eliminates early admission
In 2025, Hanoi University of Architecture will not consider admission early based on transcripts as before but will consider admission in the same round as high school graduation exam scores. Candidates can use the average score of 6 semesters of the subjects in the admission combination to register for the majors of engineering, construction, technology, etc.
The school still applies admission based on high school graduation exam scores for all majors without abilities. Combinations with abilities such as V00, V01, V02, H00, H02 remain the same. In addition, candidates with IELTS from 6.0 will not be admitted directly to the Advanced Architecture Program but will only receive priority points.
Due to the 2025 high school graduation exam under the new program, the school added Technology to the admission combination for construction engineering, water supply and drainage, transportation... and IT to the admission combination for Information Technology, Multimedia Technology, and Game Technology, to suit the training orientation in the new context. Teacher grabs hair of preschool child suspended from class for 4 months
