Regulations on summer vacation for preschool teachers
Many teachers across the country are interested in regulations on salary, allowances and summer vacation, in which Ms. Ha Thi Nhan (Dong Nai) sent a question to the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) regarding the summer vacation for preschool teachers. Ms. Nhan stated that Circular 48/2011/TT-BGDDT stipulates that preschool teachers are entitled to 8 weeks of summer vacation and an additional 12 days off, while Decree 84/2020/ND-CP stipulates 8 weeks, including annual leave.
According to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 58 of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents No. 64/2025/QH15, when there are differences between documents on the same issue, documents with higher legal effect will be given priority. In this case, the Government's Decree is more effective than the Ministry's Circular.
The Ministry of Education and Training affirms that preschool teachers must comply with the provisions of Decree 84/2020/ND-CP, which means the summer vacation is 8 weeks, including 12 days off each year. See more...

Family and school lax management is helping students violate the Traffic Law
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, during inspections of the parking lot at Hai Ba Trung Vocational Education and Training Center and Ha Thanh Secondary and High School (Hanoi), the authorities discovered many students parking motorbikes, even without license plates, in the school grounds. Although students are not old enough to drive a vehicle over 50cc, the school security guard still records the ticket and collects the deposit. According to data from the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security, on November 4 alone, inspections in 30/34 provinces and cities discovered 48,059 students who were not qualified to drive vehicles, of which nearly 44,000 cases parked vehicles in schools.
