Lao Cai has a new Director of the Department of Education and Training

Lao Cai - On November 3, the Provincial People's Committee held a Conference to announce the Decision to appoint the Director of the Department of Education and Training.

The conference was attended by Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee and the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province.

At the Conference, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the Decision of the Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee on appointing Mr. Luyen Huu Chung, Party Secretary, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Education and Training to the position of Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan congratulated Mr. Luyen Huu Chung and emphasized: The Lao Cai Education and Training sector is entering a new stage of development with many opportunities and challenges.

Therefore, as Director of the Department, Mr. Luyen Huu Chung needs to continue to promote leadership capacity, innovative thinking, solidarity, proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on breakthrough solutions to improve the quality of comprehensive education, promote digital transformation, and build a team of teachers to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training in the period of 2025-2030.

Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, the new Director of the Department of Education and Training expressed his deep gratitude to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee for entrusting him with the assignment.

Mr. Luyen Huu Chung affirmed that he will continue to promote the good traditions of the industry with the Department's leadership, uphold the sense of responsibility, creativity, and determination to successfully implement the goals and tasks of developing education and training in the province in the new period.

Mr. Luyen Huu Chung was born in 1970, in Luc Yen district, the former Yen Bai province.

At the end of January 2025, Mr. Luyen Huu Chung was appointed as Director of the Department of Education and Training of Yen Bai province. After Yen Bai and Lao Cai provinces merged, he was assigned to hold the position of Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province.
