On June 24, the Party Committee of Tra Vinh University held the 6th Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030, with 219 delegates representing more than 1,000 Party members from 41 Party cells.
In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of Tra Vinh University has achieved many outstanding achievements. The Party development work has made remarkable progress, admitting 275 new Party members, exceeding the target by 137%.
In terms of expertise, the school maintains a stable scale with more than 20,000 students studying at many levels and majors; currently training 10 doctoral majors, 19 master's majors, 50 undergraduate majors; the annual employment rate of graduates is over 85%.
In the 2021-2024 period, the School published more than 1,300 domestic papers, 108 international papers and 322 papers under Scopus/WoS; owned 1 patent, 3 useful solutions. The expanded international cooperation network with 37 agreements has put the School in the Top 200 universities with sustainable development and Top 50 universities with global innovation.
Startup activities have developed strongly with 744 ideas, 81 projects supported and 21 enterprises created, winning more than 145 awards.
For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee of Tra Vinh University aims to enhance its leadership role, build a multi-field, high-quality, and internationally integrated school. The focus is on strengthening the Party organization, developing the team, promoting digital transformation, research, innovation, improving the quality of training and employment after graduation.
The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee consisting of 15 comrades. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa - Principal of the school was elected to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary for the 2025 - 2030 term.
