On June 23, the Tra Vinh Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to announce decisions on organizational structure and personnel work.
The conference was attended by Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ms. Kien Thi Minh Nguyet - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee.
At the conference, the decision to dissolve and end the activities of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Inspection Committee of the Labor Federations of 9 districts, towns, cities, the Trade Unions of Party agencies, the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union, and the Tra Vinh Economic Zone Trade Union was announced.
At the same time, at the Conference, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor received 151 grassroots unions under 12 grassroots trade unions that have just been dissolved.
The Tra Vinh Provincial Federation of Labor also presented decisions on the transfer of civil servants of the Trade Unions at the grassroots level and public service units to work at the Provincial Federation of Labor. The decisions take effect from July 1, 2025.
Up to now, the Tra Vinh Provincial Federation of Labor directly manages 167 grassroots unions with more than 39,123 union members.
