On January 3, information from the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province said that it had just issued Decision No. 5273/QD-UBND on assigning the number of contract workers working as teachers to receive financial support in public preschool and general education institutions in the province according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP of the Government.
According to the decision, the number of contract workers working as teachers receiving financial support in public preschools and general education institutions assigned to the People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP of the Government is 3,840 targets.
Of which, preschool level is 960 targets; primary level is 1,152 targets; secondary level is 1,422 targets and high school level is 306 targets. Implementation period starts from January 1, 2025 to May 31, 2025.
Localities are assigned many targets such as: in mountainous areas - for secondary school level; Ba Thuoc district 51 targets, Ngoc Lac district 61 targets, Thach Thanh district 60 targets, Cam Thuy district 58 targets, Thuong Xuan district 43 targets...
In the lowland region - for secondary school level: Thanh Hoa city 159 targets, Hoang Hoa district 98 targets, Nghi Son town 89 targets, Quang Xuong district 86 targets, Thieu Hoa district 68 targets...
Also according to this decision, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province assigned the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to guide the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to implement labor contracts for teachers in accordance with regulations; resolve or report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to resolve difficulties and problems during the implementation process.
The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities shall, based on the guidance documents of the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Education and Training, sign labor contracts for teachers at all levels, ensuring that the number of contracted workers does not exceed the assigned number, and at the same time be responsible to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for determining the structure of cultural teachers and special teachers that are still lacking to sign labor contracts at kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools to ensure a consistent structure of subjects, without local surpluses or shortages.
