Like every year, Ms. Le Thi Chua (O Mon ward, Can Tho city) chooses to buy textbooks as well as learning tools early for her children so as not to have to rush to school. According to Ms. Chua, in addition to textbooks, the bookstore also displays many types of reference books, learning tools, ... for parents to choose from to support their children's learning process.

"In the bookstore, there are all kinds of books that children need, there is no need to worry about lack. The prices of books are generally quite affordable, some learning tools are also offered with promotions, with discounts from 5%, Ms. Chua shared.

Sharing the same assessment, Ms. Bui Thi Thu (Ninh Kieu ward, Can Tho city), whose child is in grade 5, said that in recent years, she has prioritized registering to buy textbooks at the school for the child.

Ensuring textbooks for the new school year

The Department of Education and Training (DET) of Can Tho City said that the unit has directed high schools in the city to coordinate with textbook suppliers to provide books in many forms. Accordingly, students can register to buy books by class at the school they are studying in or go to the bookstore to read in class or school and buy at the listed price.

"The number of textbooks in the city is currently enough to meet the classes to start the new school year. Can Tho Department of Education and Training has contacted reputable companies and bookstores to coordinate in introducing the preliminary list and on that basis, help parents choose textbooks suitable for each school unit and the needs of students," Ms. Tran Thi Huyen - Acting Director of Can Tho Department of Education and Training - informed.
