The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just sent a document to 168 wards, communes, special zones and schools at all levels of education, requesting to strengthen propaganda, prevent acts of infringing on life and health and update knowledge about tricks of scamming and kidnapping students online.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, based on receiving the official dispatch of the Ho Chi Minh City Police on coordinating propaganda and preventing methods and tricks of scamming and kidnapping students in cyberspace that are developing complicatedly.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requests educational institutions to promote propaganda and prevent acts of infringing on the lives and health of others; and at the same time coordinate with specialized agencies to organize training and propaganda for managers, teachers, staff, students, and parents to raise awareness of related laws.
In addition, schools need to organize thematic meetings on building compassion, respect for life, skills in peaceful conflict resolution, and non-violence for students.
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requests units to disseminate information in many forms about methods and tricks of scamming and kidnapping students online, and at the same time coordinate with local police forces to update new tricks and guide preventive measures.
Schools are also requested to strengthen propaganda on using the network safely and purposefully; guide students to recognize risks such as strange links, misinformation, and avoid crowd psychology.
Teachers and parents need to set an example, supervise and guide students on how to report bad behaviors online, contributing to building a healthy and safe digital environment.
