Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy has just announced the threshold for ensuring input quality and the rule for converting equivalent scores for regular university admission in 2025.
In 2025, the school will admit 2,325 students for the full-time university program, specifically as follows:

The indicator for each major can be adjusted to about 20% to suit the needs and general benchmark scores of the major.
In order to facilitate candidates nationwide, this year, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy applied a variety of admission methods. For the regular university system, the main method is admission based on the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam with the combination B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology - additional admission based on the results of the V-SAT exam); A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry); X06 (Math, Physics, Technology).

Of the 12 majors, the Medicine and Dentistry major has the highest minimum admission score of 20.5 points. Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy are the second highest with 19 points. The remaining majors have the same minimum admission score of 17 points, including Preventive Medicine, Biotechnology, Nutrition, Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health, Medical Testing Technology and Medical Imaging Technology.
The minimum score for the first round of admission includes regional priority points and priority subjects as stipulated in the current University Admission Regulations.
The priority score (field and subject) for candidates with a total score of 22.5 or higher (when converted to a score on a scale of 10 and a total score of 3 subjects is 30.) is determined according to the following formula:
Priority score = [(30 Total scored)/7.5] × Priority score prescribed by the Admission Regulations.
The minimum score is applied to the method of considering the admission score for the high school exam and the converted V-SAT exam score. The input angles are determined equally between the groups. If many candidates are in the same group, the school will prioritize choosing Math to consider admission from high to low according to the quota.
The school does not use reserved points in the high school graduation exam and V-SAT exam for admission.
