The Hanoi Department of Transport has just announced the organization of road closures on streets during Christmas 2024 in Hoan Kiem district.
In particular, in Hoan Kiem district: All vehicles are prohibited from circulating through the following streets: Nha Chung, Ly Quoc Su, Nha Tho, Au Trieu (around the Great Church), and Ham Long street (from Ngo Quyen to Phan Chu Trinh).
Prohibited time from 18:00 to 24:00 on 24 and 25/12/2024.
The Hanoi Department of Transport requests the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District to coordinate with functional units of the City Police and the Department of Transport Inspectorate to ensure security, order and traffic safety for Christmas 2024;
Arrange signs, directional signs, and night warning lights from a distance and in the area according to National Technical Regulations on road signs.
Take the lead in developing a plan to arrange forces to be on duty and guide vehicles participating in road traffic according to the content of this Notice;
Direct subordinate units and forces to deploy plans to arrange forces at checkpoints and guide vehicles participating in road traffic according to the content of this notice; ensure fire prevention and fighting according to regulations;
Organize clearance and handle violations of urban order and traffic safety on routes to separate traffic flows for vehicles;
After the above traffic organization period ends, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District is responsible for restoring the original traffic status so that vehicles participating in road traffic can circulate normally and is responsible for arranging funds to organize traffic flow according to regulations.
Requesting Hanoi Parking Lot Exploitation Company Limited to temporarily suspend vehicle parking activities on the roadway of Nha Tho Street, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on December 24 and 25, 2024.
Assign the Hanoi Department of Transport Inspectorate to coordinate with the Hanoi City Police, units of Hoan Kiem District and relevant units to arrange traffic guidance forces at checkpoints on prohibited streets to ensure traffic order and safety.
