A representative of Project Management Board 2 (Soc Trang province) - the project investor - said that the total value of Component Project 4 has so far reached more than VND 1,557 billion, equivalent to 19.2% of the contract value. According to the plan, the project will basically complete some sections with high traffic volume in 2025, complete the entire route in 2026 and put into synchronous operation in 2027.
Regarding the source of filling materials, Soc Trang province has proactively removed difficulties, handed over sand mine documents and extended mining licenses to contractors. However, the demand for sand for the project is still very large, about 6.6 million m3, while currently it can only supply a maximum of 1.8 million m3 until June 2025. The province is studying solutions for deep sand mining and using sea sand to ensure the progress of the project.
Similarly, an urgent atmosphere also covers the construction site of Dai Ngai 2 Bridge, part of the Dai Ngai Bridge Construction Investment Project on National Highway 60 in Tra Vinh and Soc Trang provinces.
A representative of Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Transport) said that the contractors have mobilized 253 personnel, 91 machines and equipment of various types to deploy 19 construction projects. The total output of the project has reached about 60%. In particular, Dai Ngai 2 Bridge has been closed, 6 months ahead of schedule.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Long - Executive Director and Project Commander (under the contractor Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC) said: "We have prepared human resources, materials, equipment and machinery to organize construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams", striving to ensure the progress, safety and quality of the project, striving to bring Dai Ngai 2 bridge to technical traffic on April 30.
At the Rach Mop boat lock project located between Ke Sach and Long Phu districts (Soc Trang province) under the Southern Hau River water control project, workers are also rushing to complete the final items.
According to Mr. Kieu Van Cong - Deputy Director of Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 10, the project has reached more than 90% of the volume and is expected to be put into operation in March 2025.

The project of controlling water resources on the southern bank of Hau River with 6 sluices, of which Rach Mop sluice is the largest project, has important significance in controlling water resources, high tides, responding to saltwater intrusion, and protecting the large agricultural production areas of Soc Trang and Hau Giang provinces.
