Can Tho - After being expanded and paved with asphalt concrete, Provincial Road 921 has been completed, bringing a new, spacious and clean appearance to the locality.

Ms. Le Thi Linh (55 years old), who has been selling soft drinks in the area for 20 years, shared: "Previously, the road was narrow, degraded, and there was no drainage system, so flooding often occurred. Trucks passing by force motorbikes to move close to the roadside, which is very dangerous. There are many schools along the road, so it is very difficult for students to travel during heavy rains.

According to Ms. Linh, before Tet, the construction unit has begun to maintain and repair the road section from Tra Bay Bridge to Rach Rich Bridge, Trung Nhut Ward. The construction process is going on quickly, just the installation of drainage culverts takes more time.

In response to the change in the route, many people expressed their joy and excitement because the road has been upgraded to be spacious, clean, convenient for vehicles, people to do business easily, and students go to school more safely every day.

Provincial Road 921 is a vital route connecting Thot Not District to Co Do District, Can Tho City. Before being maintained and repaired, this road had seriously degraded, without a drainage system, and was often flooded, affecting people's lives, activities and trade.

At the end of 2024, the Department of Transport of Can Tho City has invested in maintaining, repairing the road surface and installing drainage culverts. The road surface is widened from 3.5m to 4.5m.

According to the leader of the People's Committee of Trung Nhut Ward (Thot Not District, Can Tho City), the upgraded road has created favorable conditions for people to travel and buy, sell, and exchange goods, contributing to the local economic development and building a civilized urban area.
