On November 18, the Office of the People's Committee of Son La province informed that the Provincial People's Committee has just decided to approve the adjustment of the project of the Road from Quang Truong - Hua La Commune Center, Son La City.
Accordingly, the project adjustment content will supplement, recover, compensate for site clearance and renew the earthen ditch with a length of about 252 m at the downstream location of the drainage box culvert (4x4) m leading to Nam La stream in Pong village, Hua La commune.
At the same time, perform mechanical cutting, load reduction, subsidence of landslide points, technical treatment of roadbed pushing up at landslide points and supplementing the clearance scope to ensure technical requirements.
In addition, the adjustment is also to update the total investment after adjustment to ensure savings and efficiency for the project.
The total investment after adjustment is 232 billion VND, of which compensation and resettlement support costs are 44.5 billion VND; construction costs are 172 billion VND... Implementation period is from 2021-2025. The project is invested by Son La City People's Committee.
Speaking with reporters, a representative of the Son La City Construction Investment Project Management Board informed that the project of the Road from the Square - Hua La Commune Center has been basically completed and put into use since the beginning of this year (January 2024), and is now named Vo Nguyen Giap Street.
The route is about 2.2 km long, 31 m wide, 21 m wide, asphalt concrete road surface, with traffic safety system, lighting system, drainage system, trees. The starting point of the route is at Coong Noi bridge intersection, Son La city; the end point is at Hua La commune.
"After adjustment, the total investment of the project remains the same and only changes in technical solutions to improve investment efficiency, without changing the scale and main objectives of the project" - the unit representative said.
