Female nurse dies after colliding with a stray dog on her way home from work

Lam Dong - On the way home from the hospital, a female nurse collided with a stray dog and died after 3 days of intensive care.

On the morning of October 21, a leader of La Gi Regional General Hospital, Lam Dong province confirmed that female nurse H.T.T.H (born in 1982) died after a tragic accident.

Previously, on the afternoon of October 17, after finishing her shift at the hospital, Ms. H drove her motorbike home. While traveling on Dinh Bo Linh Street, Phuoc Hoi Ward, Lam Dong Province, she suddenly collided with a stray dog.

The collision caused Ms. H to fall and suffer serious injuries. The victim was taken to La Gi Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment by local people.

The victim was then transferred to Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) for further treatment in a state of severe prognosis. However, after 3 days of intensive treatment, Ms. H did not survive.

The incident shocked and mourned colleagues and local people.

Many people are upset about the situation of people raising dogs but letting them run free, endangering other road users. There are cases where free-range dogs chase passersby.
