On the morning of May 15, the leader of the People's Committee of Quang Son commune (Dak G'long district, Dak Nong) said that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, killing 2 people.
The accident occurred at around 8:45 a.m. the same day. The tractor-trailer with license plate 48H-00369, driven by driver To Van C (born in 1985, residing in Binh Dinh province), was traveling on National Highway 28 in the direction from Gia Nghia City (Dak Nong) to Quang Son Commune.
When arriving at bridge 25, Quang Tien village (Quang Son commune), the tractor-trailer collided with a motorbike with license plate 47B1-400088, driven by Mr. Tran Dinh T (born in 1974, residing in Dak Lak province) and a car with license plate 48D-00547, driven by Mr. Song A P (born in 1987, residing in Quang Son commune).
According to images provided by local residents, after the collision, the tractor-trailer dragged the motorbike underground and crashed into the other side of the road.
The accident killed the male tractor-trailer driver and the motorbike driver. The vehicles were severely damaged.
After receiving the report, the authorities arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and investigate the incident.
