According to initial information, at around 5:15 p.m., an ambulance with license plate 48B-008.97 (driver's identity unknown) was traveling from Dak Song district to Gia Nghia city (Dak Nong).
At this time, a male patient was in critical condition on the ambulance. The patient was accompanied by a woman, two doctors and a female nurse.
When the car was near the Dak Song Toll Station, it suddenly collided with a car with license plate 47A-160.70 driven by a female driver.
At this time, it started to rain heavily, making the road slippery.
The strong collision caused the ambulance to overturn, spinning many times before stopping at the edge of the road. While the front of the car was completely crushed.
The consequences of the accident injured 6 people on the two vehicles. In which, the female relative of the patient was seriously injured.
Local people quickly assisted, took the victims out of the car and into a house on the side of the road for first aid.
As soon as the news was received, Dak Song District Medical Forces dispatched another ambulance to the scene.
The victims were transferred to an ambulance to Dak Nong General Hospital for emergency care.
