At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered that this business household was selling 19,600 women's pants with foreign language labels, manufactured abroad, without invoices and documents proving their origin. The total value of the shipment according to the listed price is more than 235 million VND.
Continuing to conduct inspection work, Market Management Team No. 8 coordinated with the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling, and Environment of Hanoi City Police to inspect Hieu Linh seafood business household, located at alley 5, lane 82, Thanh Trung street, Cuu Viet, Trau Quy town, Gia Lam district.
Through inspection, the authorities discovered that the business household was selling a large quantity of smuggled frozen food, including: 200 kg of frozen buffalo meat; 50 kg of frozen octopus beard; 40 kg of frozen seafood. The total value of the infringing goods was more than 27 million VND.
Along with that, this business household was doing business in many locations, but did not notify the district-level business registration agency where the business household was headquartered, the Tax authority, or the Market Management Agency.
Market Management Team No. 8 has sealed and temporarily detained all the violating goods in the above 2 cases and continues to handle them according to the provisions of law.
