On the afternoon of March 3, at the program "Listening and Exchanging" within the framework of the business gathering at the beginning of spring 2026 organized by Ca Mau province, provincial leaders directly dialogued, listened to recommendations and reaffirmed the consistent viewpoint of considering businesses as an important driving force for socio-economic development of the locality.

Speaking at the program, Ca Mau Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai emphasized that, within the framework of law, the province is committed to accompanying businesses, ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the business community in the process of investment, production, and business. For difficulties and obstacles beyond the local authority to resolve, the province will proactively summarize and propose to competent authorities to consider and remove them.
According to the Provincial Party Secretary, Ca Mau is still a locality with many difficulties, but that cannot be a reason to delay in paying attention to and creating conditions for businesses to develop. "There is no reason why provincial leaders should not pay attention to developing the province, to making the lives of people and workers better and better. With that common desire, there is no reason why provincial leaders should not pay attention or pay attention not enough to businesses," the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed.

Sharing more at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai said that after the merger, Ca Mau not only has more advantages in terms of geography and key industries but also has a great advantage in human resources. Promoting these favorable factors will help the province's management and administration work be more effective, creating a stable and transparent investment environment for businesses.
2026 is a pivotal year in the implementation of the 5-year socio-economic development plan for the period 2026 – 2030, and also the year the province operates the synchronous apparatus after the merger. Ca Mau sets a target of economic growth rate of about 10%; total social investment capital of about 90,000 billion VND, an increase of about 25% compared to 2025; export turnover reaches 2.8 billion USD; total state budget revenue in the area reaches 11,405 billion VND. The province strives to establish 1,400 new businesses, bringing the total number of operating businesses to about 11,730 businesses, and at the same time significantly improving administrative reform indicators, competitiveness and the satisfaction level of people and businesses.

Provincial leaders affirmed that the government will continue to listen and accompany to remove difficulties for businesses in a substantive way. Immediately after the conference, the Department of Finance was assigned to fully summarize opinions and recommendations; clearly assign the presiding agency, coordination and handling time; continue to review and cut unnecessary administrative procedures, publicize and be transparent in resolving dossiers, creating favorable conditions for businesses to access land, capital and technology.
