On June 18, at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province issued a decision approving the investment policy and approving the investor of Bac Tan Uyen 1 Industrial Park (a mechanical industrial park).
Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh attended the ceremony and Mr. Vo Van Minh - Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee presented the decision to THACO Group.
Bac Tan Uyen 1 Industrial Park is located in Binh My Commune, Tan Lap Commune, Bac Tan Uyen District and Hoi Nghia Ward, Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province.
This is a mechanical engineering industrial park with a total area of about 785 hectares, with a total investment of more than VND 75,000 billion (about 2.87 billion USD). The industrial park will attract more than 30,000 workers, of which nearly 10,000 workers have university and university degrees.
THACO Group said that it is expected to start the project in August 2025 and put part of the project into operation from September 2026.
Enterprises will invest in this industrial park in a modern, green, smart direction, integrating automation, on a digital platform, and applying artificial intelligence. Sustainable development and a closed circular ecosystem, forming a large-scale, concentrated production model.
