On May 22, according to PV's research, the People's Committee of Cao Bang province has just sent a document to departments, branches and sectors on adjusting the economic growth scenario and assigning economic growth targets for the second quarter of 2025 in the area.
Accordingly, for the economic growth scenario of 8% in 2025, Cao Bang province will maintain the growth of the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector (3.3%).
The industrial and construction sector was adjusted from 11.91% to 12.97%. In which, the industrial sector reduced the target from 12.9% growth to 7.14%. For the construction sector, the target growth rate is adjusted from 10.5% to 21.1%.
The service sector's growth target was adjusted compared to the beginning, from 8.5% to 8.24%.
With the growth target of Product Tax minus product subsidies, it will decrease from 8.6% to 7.75%.

In addition to adjusting the economic growth plan for 2025, the People's Committee of Cao Bang province also set a growth target for the second quarter of 2025 of over 8.25%.
The growth target for each sector is identified as the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector increasing by 5.68%; the industry - construction sector increasing by 8.98%, of which industry increased by 2.93%, construction increased sharply by 21.69%; the service sector increased by 9.78%; product taxes minus product subsidies increased by 6.9%.
To achieve this goal, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned specific targets to 19 level I economic sectors and product taxes minus product subsidies.
The departments and branches in charge are required to coordinate with the Provincial Statistical Office to analyze the content of the responsible branches, develop specific targets on output, product and service revenue, and propose tasks and solutions for implementation. Report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Finance before May 19.
Units must conduct monthly reports on the implementation of assigned targets and proactively propose breakthrough solutions in cases beyond their authority. After the Statistics Office announces the GRDP results for the second quarter, the units will coordinate to evaluate the overall growth results of the whole province.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to preside over the implementation process, coordinate with the General Statistics Office to summarize the results and advise on organizing a second quarter review meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in early July 2025. Units that do not meet the target must have a written explanation, along with a solution to send to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
This is a key and urgent task, decisive in implementing the GRDP growth target of 8% for the whole year of 2025. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested heads of departments and branches to focus highly, resolutely implement and take full responsibility to the province for the assigned results.
