On the afternoon of February 17, the Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee had a meeting with representatives of BITEXCO Energy Joint Stock Company on the implementation of the wind power plant project in the area.
Accordingly, the 100 MW BPC Vo Nhai Wind Power Plant project will be built in some communes of the mountainous district of Vo Nhai. The investor is BITEXCO Energy Joint Stock Company.
Previously, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province approved the policy of agreeing to the consulting unit to come to work to register for survey, wind measurement, and prepare an investment report for the Thai Nguyen wind power plant in Vo Nhai district.
The survey location is in some communes and towns in Vo Nhai district including Lien Minh, Trang Xa, Dan Tien, Binh Long, Phuong Giao, Dinh Ca town and Nghinh Tuong commune with a survey area of over 31 hectares.
The construction of a wind power plant in Thai Nguyen province is in accordance with Power Plan VIII. At the same time, in the National Power Development Plan, for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, the list of projects with the Vo Nhai 100 MW BPC project is included.
