On April 13, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced that it had issued Plan No. 174/KH-UBND on organizing the Danang Venture and Angel Investment Forum in 2026 - Danang Venture and Angel Summit 2026 (DAVAS 2026).
DAVAS 2026 is expected to be held from May 25 to 27 at Ariyana International Convention Center and some other locations in Da Nang.
With the theme "Innovation meets global investment" and the message "Ideas sublimate, capital flows spread", the forum aims to concretize the orientations of science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation; and at the same time promote the role of technology businesses, investors and social resources in promoting rapid and sustainable economic growth.
Within the framework of DAVAS 2026, many key activities will be organized such as: press conference to introduce the event; DAVAS Champion Golf tournament; Web3 Summit of builders; market access seminars; thematic seminars on venture capital and innovation ecosystems.
Exhibition with more than 50 booths; pitching program to raise capital with about 50 projects at home and abroad; 1:1 investment connection sessions between investment funds and startups; along with cooperation signing ceremony and gala party.
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology to play a leading role, fully responsible for organizing and implementing the Plan and ensuring funding for the implementation of DAVAS 2026's contents; and at the same time proactively invite leaders of ministries, branches, and localities to participate, mobilize and connect partners to support the event organization.
The Department coordinates with the Department of Startups and Technology Enterprises to prepare content to serve leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology to attend; support connecting domestic and foreign partners, Techfest Organizing Committee and Technology Villages to participate in pitching and exhibition activities.
