Recently, the People's Committee of Dien Bien province signed and issued Decision No. 2512 on exemption of land rent for the Dien Bien Rubber latex processing factory project of Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company.
According to the decision, the Dien Bien Rubber latex processing factory project (located in Thanh Nua commune) will be exempted from land rent for 13 years. The land rent exemption period is calculated from October 8, 2024.
Of which, 2 years are exempted during the basic construction period; 11 years are exempted from land rent according to preferential regulations for investment projects in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions.
The decision also clearly states that in case the competent state agency discovers that Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company is using land that has been exempted from rent but does not meet the prescribed conditions, or is using land for the wrong purpose, it will have to return the exempted amount to the state budget.
Previously, on April 16, 2024, the People's Committee of Dien Bien province approved the investment policy and approved the Investor of the Dien Bien Rubber Lime Processing Factory project in Hua Thanh commune, Dien Bien district (now Thanh Nua commune, Dien Bien province).
The land for the project has a total area of 25,000m2; the designed capacity is 5,000 tons/year (2 tons/hour drying). The total estimated investment capital is 60 billion VND, the project implementation period is 50 years.
