On March 18, the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) held a press conference event on the occasion of a high-level US business delegation visiting and working in Vietnam in 2025.
The delegation of US businesses to visit Vietnam this time includes 64 leading enterprises in the fields of energy, technology, defense, aviation, etc., including large corporations such as Apple, Boeing, Intel, Pacifico Energy, Meta, etc.
At the event, former Ambassador Ted Osius, Chairman of the US-ASEAN Business Council, commented that Vietnam is the fastest growing economy in Southeast Asia, attracting a record amount of FDI investment capital. The US is currently Vietnam's second largest trading partner, while Vietnam is the 8th largest US trading partner.
Also at the event, representatives of many large US enterprises affirmed their strong commitment to investing in Vietnam.

A representative of Pacifico Energy Group shared investment plans in Vietnam in the coming time. According to a representative of Pacifico Group, last week, the Chairman of Nate Franklin Group had a meeting with leaders, representatives of some ministries and branches of Vietnam, representatives of some state-owned enterprises as well as private enterprises.
A representative of Pacifico Group affirmed that they highly appreciate the drastic and bold innovation policies of General Secretary To Lam.
At the same time, the representative of the US corporation also acknowledged the innovations and positive moves of the Vietnamese Government in removing barriers to investment, business, and trade, creating a friendly business environment and increasing imports of goods from the US.
According to Pacifico's representative, the company is very excited about its business plans in Vietnam, and is committed to increasing investment in Vietnam.
The representative of the US company said that Vietnam has great potential in developing offshore wind power, and also wants to take the lead in cooperation with Vietnam to enhance energy security and clear the way for more potential investors.
The representative of Pacifico Group also expressed confidence that strengthening energy cooperation between the US and Vietnam will help enhance energy security in Vietnam and further strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
Also at the event, Meta Group representative shared the company's investment plan in Vietnam in the coming time, affirming its long-term investment commitment in Vietnam. Meta will expand its virtual world service, accelerate this process very quickly and is expected to create 1,000 more jobs in the high-tech sector...
At the same time, Meta will work with partners to create the largest database ever to serve AI models and big data. In particular, there will be AI tools in Vietnamese to serve the lives of Vietnamese people.
