On March 1, Lao Dong Newspaper reporter noted that at Ha Tinh city market (also known as Ha Tinh province market), there are many kiosks, mainly on the 2nd floor of the market, that are left empty, closed or have signs for sale or transfer of kiosks.
Some other kiosks still sell clothes and clothing but are quite deserted and have few customers.
"Shopping is difficult and sluggish, so many people have closed their doors to change jobs, or are sitting at home selling online," said a clothing vendor at Ha Tinh City Market (near the closing kiosks).

According to the Ha Tinh City Market Management Board, Ha Tinh City Market currently has more than 1,700 kiosks with a variety of items, the most of which are clothes stores.
However, there are currently nearly 100 empty kiosks, mainly on the 2nd floor of the market. This situation has been happening for a long time due to ineffective business operations, so many people have stopped doing business at the market waiting for customers to rent or transfer kiosks.

The leader of the Market Management Board added that for the vacant kiosks, the Management Board will still conduct periodic inspections according to regulations to ensure fire prevention and fighting because many kiosks are closed even though they still leave goods inside.
