World oil price today
Today's gasoline price increased strongly. At 10:12 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 74.5 USD/barrel, up 6.71 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 9.86%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 68.04 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 68.71 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 75.85 USD/barrel, up 6.49 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 9.36%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 69.36 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 70.26 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices in recent sessions have continuously recorded an upward trend. After increasing by more than 4% in the previous session, in yesterday's trading session (6.12), Brent and WTI oil prices turned down, decreasing by 0.6% and 0.2%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both items increased strongly, reaching the highest level in the past 4 months.
According to analysts, the US-Iran tensions are strongly affecting the global energy market. Iran's alleged violations of its nuclear commitments and the possibility of blocking the Hormuz Strait have pushed oil prices up sharply.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On June 13, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade jointly announced in the price management session on the afternoon of June 12, 2025. Accordingly, domestic gasoline prices have increased simultaneously.
E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by 199 VND/liter, RON 95-III gasoline price increased by 269 VND/liter, diesel price increased by 280 VND/liter, kerosene price increased by 227 VND/liter and mazut price increased by 283 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the price adjustment period this afternoon, retail prices of gasoline may increase sharply.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 400-600 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 300-500 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 350-550 VND/liter.
