Autoliv Vietnam factory is a new project in the global expansion strategy of Autoliv Group (Sweden) - the world's leading manufacturer of auto safety systems. The project has a total investment of 154 million USD, deployed on an area of 9 hectares in Song Khoai Industrial Park. The factory specializes in the production of raw materials and components for automobile safety airbags, serving Autoliv's global production network.
After coming into operation, the factory is expected to produce about 10 million products/year, mainly for export.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Van Dien - Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province - affirmed that the inauguration of the project is an important milestone, showing the open investment environment, transparent policies and consistent support of Quang Ninh province for the business community. With the advantage of synchronous infrastructure, convenient connection to highways and seaports, Song Khoai Industrial Park is becoming an attractive destination for high-tech investors and high-quality workers.
Quang Ninh province acknowledged the efforts of investors, the Economic Zone Management Board and the infrastructure investor Amata Ha Long have closely coordinated to complete the project on schedule. The operation of the factory contributes to creating jobs, increasing export turnover, supplementing budget revenue and promoting the province's high-tech industry. Quang Ninh province is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for Autoliv Vietnam Factory to operate effectively and expand development in the coming time.
