Gasoline prices sharply decreased, diesel oil decreased by nearly 10,000 VND/liter
In the operating period on April 9, 2026, the inter-ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance continues to apply new tax rates according to Decision 482 of the Prime Minister, and at the same time use the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund (with advance funds from the budget) to manage prices closely following the developments of the world market, ensuring harmony of interests between parties.
The level of stabilization fund allocation applied includes: 800 VND/liter for gasoline (E5RON92 and RON95), 1,000 VND/liter for diesel and 800 VND/kg for mazut oil. This mechanism aims to stabilize domestic selling prices in the face of strong fluctuations in world oil prices.
After management, gasoline and oil prices decreased sharply: E5RON92 gasoline is still a maximum of 22,344 VND/liter (down 2,393 VND), RON95-III is still 23,543 VND/liter (down 2,993 VND), diesel oil is still 32,969 VND/liter (down 9,872 VND) and mazut oil is still 22,613 VND/kg (down 1,658 VND).
