The Tax Department issued Official Dispatch No. 1927/CT-KTr requesting to strengthen thematic inspections in 2026 for businesses with prolonged losses and sluggish profits to detect fraud, tax evasion and ensure budget revenue. Although 2025 has improved, the situation of businesses reporting losses for many years is still common, and is identified as a high-risk group that needs close monitoring.
The tax authority requests units to promote propaganda, review tax declarations, and at the same time develop key inspection plans. Notably, 19 businesses in the specific list will be directly inspected; in addition, 302 businesses with revenue over 1,000 billion VND but continuous losses are also included in the monitoring and analysis area to be included in the inspection plan.
The content of the inspection focuses on the rationality of revenue, expenses, tax recognition time, invoices and documents and especially related party transactions, internal expenses. Units must deploy from April and complete in 2026, and periodically report on the amount of tax arrears, fines and violations to improve tax management efficiency. See more...
Stock market has the highest gaining session in history
Information FTSE Russell announced on April 8 about Vietnam passing the review period created a strong boost for the market. The VN-Index jumped to a record 79 points (+4.71%) to 1,756.5 points, with hundreds of stocks increasing in price and liquidity reaching more than 33,000 billion VND. This is the strongest increase session in the history of the Vietnamese stock market.
Strong cash flow caused many stocks to "sold out", especially on the VN30 electronic board, up to 29/30 stocks increased. However, foreign investors only net bought slightly due to strong selling of some large stocks such as VIC, MBB and VCB, showing a certain caution even though the market was excited.
According to SSI Securities Company, market upgrades are a medium-term driving force and do not create an immediate price increase effect. Market diễn biến still depends on fundamental factors such as economic growth, corporate profits and valuation, so investors are advised to avoid chasing short-term fluctuations. See more...
Donating land to open roads, clearing the way for consumption of agricultural products in mountainous areas
The 8.4 km long Son Ha - Co Ba road connecting Bao Thang and Tang Loong has been completed and put into use at the end of March 2026, with a total capital of more than 28 billion VND. The project was achieved thanks to the consensus of 138 households who voluntarily donated about 7.6 hectares of land, contributing to removing traffic infrastructure bottlenecks in the area.

The new road makes travel more convenient, replacing the difficult dirt roads before, and at the same time creates favorable conditions for transporting agricultural products such as cinnamon, bananas, and forest products, reducing costs and improving production efficiency. Thanks to that, hilly and forest economic activities have become more vibrant, and people's lives have been clearly improved.
Not only serving production, the road also connects to the Co Ba temple spiritual tourist destination, opening up opportunities for service and tourism development. Local authorities are oriented to continue mobilizing people to donate land, expand inter-regional traffic routes, creating a foundation for sustainable economic development for the region.
