The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just sent an official dispatch to the Department of Industry and Trade; the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board; Bac Ninh Power Company; Lideco 1 Joint Stock Company, Dong Bac Energy Services Company Limited.
Accordingly, after considering the proposal of the Department of Industry and Trade in the Official Dispatch dated August 20, 2025 on reporting the handling of petitions on power outages in Tan Hung Industrial Park, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Pham Van Thinh requested the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to clearly identify the causes and responsibilities of relevant parties for the power outage incident on the morning of August 5, 2025 in Tan Hung Industrial Park.

Tan Hung Industrial Park is located adjacent to the Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway service road. 72 km from the center of Hanoi, 106 km from Huu Nghi international border gate (Lang Son province).
Tan Hung Industrial Park has a total area of 105.3 hectares, with a total investment of VND 1,185 billion. The investor is Lideco 1 Joint Stock Company.
After the merger, Bac Ninh has 33 industrial parks with a total area of over 10,100 hectares, with an occupancy rate of about 56%.
Industrial parks play a key role in Bac Ninh's economy by attracting large investment capital, creating jobs for workers, and promoting economic growth.
In the first 7 months of 2025, Bac Ninh province attracted 9.9 billion USD of domestic investment capital and 3.9 billion USD of FDI capital.
Notably, with a turnover of nearly 8.68 billion USD, Bac Ninh unexpectedly surpassed Ho Chi Minh City to rise to become the locality with the highest export turnover in the country in July 2025, according to data from the Customs Department.
